KG2 has a more structured approach to prepare the children for primary school, focusing on developing their literacy skills and understanding of numbers through a range of practical activities. The bridging primarily aims to provide a smooth transition from EY education to structured learning environments, such as elementary school.
Fundamental academic concepts like early math, literacy, and basic science are introduced to provide a balanced and holistic educational experience that prepares children for the next stage of their academic journey. A child engaging with people and the environment, playing, exploring, active learning and creating and thinking critically contributes towards the underpin development across all areas to remain an effective and motivated learner in their whole life.
